Qatargas has signed a three-year deal to supply Centrica with 2.4 million tonnes per annum of LNG at the Isle of Grain import terminal in the UK.

The first shipment is expected to be delivered in June under the £2 billion ($3.2 billion) agreement.The UK energy company is a capacity holder at National Grid’s 14.8 million tonnes per annum terminal to the east of London, which is currently undergoing an extended open season process to find customers for its next expansion phase.
