Lebanon has appointed Poten & Partners as project consultant for its maiden LNG import terminal.
The Ministry of Energy and Water is in the process of finalising the contract with the shipbroker and consultancy firm, according to a source close to the project. Lebanon recently secured financing from the World Bank for the job.
Poten & Partners is expected to kick off the work, which will take some six months to complete, in late September.
