India’s Petronet has forged a preliminary deal with Russia’s Gazprom Global LNG to buy up to 2.5 million tonnes of LNG per annum over 25 years.
The memorandum of understanding was signed with GGLNG’s Singapore affiliate, Gazprom Marketing and Trading Singapore, which will supply Petronet with LNG from its international portfolio.
The deal is said to build on GGLNG’s earlier delivery of spot cargoes to Petronet’s Dahej LNG terminal by establishing a long term relationship.
