Brazil’s Petrobras expects to receive a preliminary environmental approval for its fourth floating LNG import terminal by November.
Reports quote company chief executive Maria das Gracas Foster as saying that once the permit is received Petrobras can go ahead with finalising the gas supply contracts with local power plant buyers.
The new terminal will be installed in the south-eastern Espirito Santo state, in the municipality of Aracruz.
