Brazil’s Petrobras is said to be extending the deadline to submit full bids for its floating LNG production unit.
A source with knowledge of the bidding process could not reveal the exact time frame but described the pushback as minor, amounting to a few weeks.Bid teams have been working to put in full commercial and technical offers this month for the floater, which Petrobras wants to use to develop its remote pre-salt gas reserves in the Santos basin some 300 kilometres offshore.
