Hong Kongshipowner Pacific Basin has signed a cooperation deal with Spain’s Boludatargeting the towage business at LNG terminals in Australia.
The Asiancompany’s PB Towage subsidiary and Boluda Towage and Salvage plan to submitjoint bids for work at export projects in the country.
PB alreadyhas a presence in the harbour tug business at Australian ports includingMelbourne, Brisbane and Onslow.
Boluda is comparativelynew to Australia but has 200 tugs in operation at 54 terminals in Europe,Africa, the Indian Ocean and the Americas.
