Oil and gas company InterOil and partner Pacific LNG Operations have scored their maiden off-take deal for the Gulf LNG export project in Papua New Guinea.



The two companies, part of production joint venture Liquid Niugini Gas, have signed a heads of agreement with Hong Kong-headquartered trader Noble Group.



Under the preliminary contract, subsidiary Noble Clean Fuels is set to receive 1 million tonnes per annum of LNG over a 10-year period starting in 2014.
