Spain’s Tecnicas Reunidas is to build a new storage tank at the GNL Mejillones receiving terminal in northern Chile.
The deal to add onshore storage to the 2.5 million cubic metres per day terminal will also see France’s GDF Suez up its stake to 63%.
The 173,000 cubic-metre tank will be complete in 2013.
