Indonesia’s House of Representatives is pushing for the government to switch gas supply from Sumatra to Singapore with LNG.
The suggestion was made in an attempt to provide more gas for domestic consumers, according to the Jakarta Post newspaper.
It has been put forward that LNG could be sourced from the Bontang plant in East Kalimantan or the Tangguh plant in West Papua.
