LNG newbuilding fever is heating up again. Not content with a maiden round of speculative orders in the first half, this week saw at least two and possibly several more shipowners return to the yards for second helpings.
Golar LNG confirmed this week it has bumped up its already substantial orderbook to eight vessels and added a cherry on top with an uncommitted floating storage and regasification unit.
