Tokyo Gas Company has finalised a deal to sell between 300,000 to 400,000 tonnes of LNG per annum to compatriot buyer Hokkaido Gas.
The sales and purchase agreement covers an 11 year period, starting in 2012.
Volumes will come mainly from projects in Australia and Russia where Tokyo Gas has long-term procurement contracts.
A heads of agreement was originally signed in December between the two Japanese companies.
