Mitsubishi and Korea Gas are bumping up their interests in potential LNG export projects in British Columbia.
Shell Canada has revealed it is in exclusive talks with the pair, along with China National Petroleum Corporation, about developing a liquefaction plant in the Canadian province. Meanwhile, Kogas this week joined a Mitsubishi-led consortium of Japanese companies working with Canadian producer Penn West Exploration on a possible shale gas-fed LNG export project in the Cordova Embayment.
