Chubu Electric Power Company has received France's first re-export cargo.
The 149,700-cbm Grace Cosmos (built 2008), controlled by French portfolio player GDF Suez, dropped off the volumes at the Chita LNG terminal, which the Japanese utility shares with Toho Gas, vessel tracking data show.
The ship picked up the cargo last month from France's Montoir-de-Bretagne import facility.
