IM Skaugen vessel lifts first LNG cargo

Norwegian shipowner IM Skaugen’s maiden multigas carrier has lifted its first LNG cargo.

The shipment by the 10,000-cbm Norgas Innovation (built 2010) is proof of the multigas carrier concept, the company said. “It enables us to move forward in the establishment of a market for small-scale LNG vessels.”
