Golar LNG has raised $270 million in a public offering for an initial 12 million shares in its new corporate spin-off Golar LNG Partners.
Shares were sold at $22.50 each, representing a price “above the initial estimated range with strong demand”, said Golar.
The shipping giant has offered out the 30.1% stake in Golar LNG Partners to raise funds for expanding its fleet.
