Golar LNG increases share capital by 8.9%

John Fredriksen-controlled shipowner Golar LNG has boosted its share capital by over 6 million shares as payment for its increased holding in corporate spin-off Golar LNG Energy.

This marks an 8.9% increase in the number of Golar LNG shares and takes the total to 74.3 million.

The Norwegian outfit has issued the additional shares to shareholders in Golar LNG Energy at a rate of one for every 6.06
