GDF Suez has emerged with a requirement for a second LNG carrier for period charter shortly after fixing another ship on similar terms.
The French energy giant is seeking a vessel of up to 162,000 cbm for charter-hire from early 2012 for periods of two to four years, sources said. Offers were due in on Thursday.
This week it emerged the company has fixed the NYK-controlled 149,700-cbm Grace Acacia (built 2007) from mid-2012.
