GDF Suez saw a 2.5% jump in global gas and LNG revenues in the first quarter to €2.5 billion ($3.7 billion). The company pointed to a boost in short-term trading and external LNG sales, with two additional cargoes compared to the same quarter last year.
Total revenue for the group came in at €25.5 billion, up nearly 7% on the 2010 period.
