Russian gas giant Gazprom’s Singapore trading office has inked another preliminary LNG supply contract with an Indian buyer.
Indian Oil Corporation Limited is the latest player to sign a memorandum of understanding with Gazprom Marketing and Trading Singapore covering the supply of up to 2.5 million tonnes per annum over 25 years.
LNG will come from Gazprom’s current and projected group production, including Sakhalin-2, and will be supplemented by its wider international portfolio, said the company.
