GasAtacama is in talks with Sabine Pass LNG off-takers in a bid to tie down supply agreements this quarter or next for its floating terminal project in northern Chile. The utility is keen to book LNG volumes from the US and is looking to Cheniere Energy’s Louisiana export proposal as it is further advanced than rivals.
Sources would not reveal which of four Sabine Pass LNG buyers are holding discussions.
