Japan’s gas utilities are seeing a decline in demand from customers who continue to suffer from the aftermath of March’s earthquake.
The situation will not stop the world’s largest LNG market from experiencing a major demand spike, however.
Electrical utilities will continue to turn to the fuel to fill the nuclear generation gap. It could take a bit of the edge off the rush for volumes, though.
