US terminal operator Freeport LNG’s liquefaction plans have been floated for public comment ahead of an environmental assessment by regulators.
The FERC is calling for input to a scoping process that will help guide the assessment. Consultations run until 19 September.
Freeport LNG has applied to build three 4 million tonnes per annum trains and a new storage tank at its Texas Gulf Coast import terminal.
