InterOil and Pacific LNG have exercised options to take a combined 9.1% stake in floating liquefaction developer Flex LNG.

The companies earned the options when they signed up to use Flex’s first LNG Producer unit for one of their two liquefaction plants planned for Papua New Guinea.

US-based InterOil emerges with a 7.2% holding in Flex LNG while Singapore-headquartered Pacific LNG owns 1.9%.
