FERC to re-consider Dominion Cove Point tariffs

Dominion has been granted a rehearing of an earlier FERC order covering its Cove Point LNG terminal in Maryland.

The decision will allow extra time to consider issues arising from proposed tariff changes to the project, which Dominion suggested earlier this year in a bid to try to secure more cargoes.

In a June filing, the FERC suspended some of the plans outright, including one that would effectively force capacity holders to send LNG cargoes to the terminal.
