A massive flow of re-exports from the US has subsided for now. The rush of outbound shipments is expected to return, however, as they have apparently become the primary moneymaker at some Gulf Coast terminals.
Recently released data from the US Department of Energy show that each month from November through January at least one in four cargoes to the US was re-exported.
