Australian contractor East Coast Pipeline has secured a $150 million deal to install a pipeline as part of the first phase of construction for the Australia Pacific LNG project.
The outfit will build a polyethylene pipe for 145 wells at Spring Gully, north east of Romas.
Work will include preparation, laying, welding and restoration of more than 600 kilometres of pipe that will transport extracted gas and water from the wells.
