US utility Dominion is making some headway in its attempts to improve business at the under-utilised Cove Point LNG import terminal in Maryland.
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission said the company can bypass the pre-filing process for its application for re-exports from the plant, allowing approvals to move more quickly.
Subsidiary and terminal operator Dominion Cove Point is, however, still looking for longer-term answers to the lack of cargoes arriving at the facility.
