US outfit Cheniere Energy Partners has been awarded final authorisation from the Department of Energy to export LNG from its bi-directional terminal project.
The 4 billion cubic feet per day Sabine Pass terminal in Louisiana is now permitted to export up to 803 billion cubic feet per year of domestically produced natural gas as LNG to any existing or future importing country and with which trade is allowed.
