Chinese companies are planning to build an LNG distribution hub based at a terminal under construction in Zhuhai, Guangdong province.
The idea is to tap into demand throughout south and east China as well as South-east Asia.
Industry officials said the plans, which have drawn positive comments from the National Development & Reform Commission, outline the building of more facilities at the new terminal at Pingpai Mountain in Gaolan Port to boost the hub’s planned capacity to 11.9
