A computer virus has knocked some of Rasgas’ systems offline but the problem is having no impact on operations or cargo deliveries.
Operational systems at onshore and offshore facilities were protected from the attack, according to Bloomberg.
Qatargas and Qatar Petroleum were not hit by the virus.
The attack comes on the heels of a major cyber attack on Saudi’s largest crude exporter, Saudi Aramaco, earlier this month which paralysed its computer system.
