Taiwan is gearing up for a major boost to send-out capacity at the island’s smallest LNG terminal.
CPC, the Asian nation’s lone LNG importer, plans to begin construction next July on a project to lift capacity at the Taichung plant to 5 million tonnes per annum from the current 3 million tpa.
The country’s Council for Economic Planning and Development approved the scheme this week.
