Japanese shipowner Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) is scheduled to ink its long expected order for a quartet of LNG carrier newbuildings in China today.

Company officials are due at Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding Friday to sign shipbuilding contracts for four 172,000-cbm LNG carrier newbuildings that will be used to lift cargoes both from the ExxonMobil-led PNG LNG project and volumes from the energy major’s off-take from Gorgon LNG in Australia.
