US-based Sempra LNG could lose out on volumes from the Tangguh liquefaction plant in Indonesia as BP considers diverting LNG to a planned terminal in North Sumatra.
As much as 140 million cubic feet per day may be diverted, according to Indonesia’s director general of oil and gas at the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry, Evita Legowo.
