Sweden is scheduled to receive its first LNG cargo on Sunday onboard the 7500-cbm Coral Methane (built 2009, pictured).
The LNG will be used to commission a small-scale import terminal under development at Nynashamn.
The shipment, from Norway’s Skangass LNG plant, is expected to be followed in the near future by a second for the 250,000 tonnes per annum terminal owned by Finnish industrial gas supplier AGA.
