A record number of LNG cargoes were unloaded at Belgium’s Zeebrugge terminal in May.
According to terminal owner Fluxys LNG, 11 shipments were discharged in the month, topping previous highs of eight cargoes last August and nine in December.
“We have had a very busy period recently, especially in May when we had an all-time high,” said a Fluxys spokeswoman.
She added that Zeebrugge still hopes to receive its first Q-Max vessel in September but noted that the terminal needs to obtain a permit to allow the vessel to call.
The
