Chevron is zeroing in on the three remaining large upstream contracts on offer for the Wheatstone LNG project in Western Australia.
Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering was chosen to build the giant offshore processing platform earlier this year.
The first of the remaining jobs is the 225-kilometre, 44-inch concrete-coated export pipeline that will connect the shallow-water platform to the onshore LNG plant at Ashburton North on the Pilbara coast.
