Chevron picked up permits WA-455-P and WA-456-P while Apache won WA-454-P, all in the gas-rich Carnarvon basin off Western Australia, in the country’s latest licensing round.
Thailand’s PTTEP and Australian companies Flow Energy and MEO Australia also won acreage off Western Australia while domestic player Bight Petroleum took two permits off South Australia.
