Interest in floating storage and regasification projects is firming, according to new midstream spin-off Golar LNG Energy.
In a third-quarter results briefing on Friday, GLE said developers are seeing the availability of near to mid-term LNG supply as a “window of opportunity” in which to launch new import projects.
Along with formal tenders from countries including Israel, Indonesia, Uruguay and Jamaica, GLE said it is “discussing numerous other projects directly with interested parties”.
