Vietnam is set to open the bidding on Monday for front-end engineering and design of its first LNG import terminal.
PetroVietnam Gas is giving the winner until September of next year to draw up plans for a 1 million tonnes per annum project in the country’s south, a company source said.
The facility is planned for a five-hectare brownfield plot alongside PetroVietnam’s Thi Vai liquefied petroleum gas treatment facility in the Cai Mep Industrial Zone in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.
