Terminal developer Calais LNG is in talks with a number of potential partners as the company chases financing to push its US north-east import project through the final permitting stages.
Energy and gas companies in Europe, Russia, Africa and Japan are among those interested in putting up cash, it claimed. “We are talking to potential strategic partners in the energy space,” said Calais LNG founder Ian Emery.
