Ukraine has chosen the port of Yuzhny to build its first LNG import terminal.
The government plans to raise funds to build the project through a €513 million ($683 million) loan or bond issue, state projects boss Vladyslav Kaskiv said in a Bloomberg News report.
The import scheme, which assumes a 5 billion cubic metre per annum first phase, is expected to cost €846 million.
