Trafigura gets toehold in South Hook

Trafigura has been granted access to spare capacity at the UK’s South Hook LNG terminal under a framework deal.

The global trader secured the agreement with South Hook Gas, which owns and manages all of the regasification capacity.

The latter company already delivers gas to ExxonMobil Gas Marketing Europe and has regasification service agreements with Total Gas & Power, ConocoPhillips and EGL.
