Asian producer Brunei LNG has sent another of its elderly LNG carriers for scrap as it takes delivery of its last newbuilding under a fleet renewal plan.



Project shareholder Shell, which controls the liquefaction producer’s fleet under Brunei Shell Tankers, confirmed that the 75,070-cbm Bekulan (built 1973) was scheduled to arrive Thursday at China’s Changjing Ship Recycling Yard in Jiangyin for demolition.
