Two terminal projects in India have suffered yet more delays as proponents battle to secure environmental clearance.

Hiranandani Group was expecting to kick off construction this month at its regasification facility planned for Dighi Port in Maharashtra after being pushed back from an original target date in April. However, the developer confirmed it is yet to receive its permit and so cannot start work.

“Once we have that we should be able to start with construction,” said a company source.
