- Final discussions are expected to be held next month with three companies bidding to provide a floating storage and regasification unit for Chilean electricity generator Colbun. Excelerate Energy, Mitsui OSK Lines and Hoegh LNG are all understood to remain in the running. A contract award is expected by the end of July. Colbun, controlled by Chile’s billionaire Matte clan, is seeking an FSRU with a capacity of between 150,000 and 170,000 cbm to be located in Quintero Bay, close to the existing GNL Quintero terminal.
