- Lebanon is believed to have pre-qualified around 13 parties interested in providing the country’s first floating LNG import terminal. The Ministry of Energy & Water attracted some 18 or 19 responses to its initial invitation for expressions of interest in constructing and operating a floating storage and regasification unit, sources said. Bids are likely to involve some level of local partnership.
