Israel Electric Corporation will likely launch an open request for proposals next week for LNG supplies at its maiden import terminal.
The state-run utility published a request for information on cargoes in November and is thought to have received a couple of offers. It is now planning to move on to the next stage in the process. “We are about to publish an RfP to purchase LNG cargoes… hopefully in a week,” said a company source.
