Jamaica is expecting at least five bids today from companies vying to supply LNG to its maiden import terminal.
Some of the offers were lodged yesterday with others being flown in to meet the cut-off date, according to a source close to the project.
A high-level evaluation team will meet next week to review the bids, he added.
Jamaica recently extended the tender process for both supply and regasification infrastructure.
