Bidding on Uruguay’s maiden LNG terminal has been pushed back beyond the first half of 2012 after the development team was sent back to the drawing board on siting.
Joint venture Gas Sayago, which is teamed with Argentina’s Enarsa on the project, is seeking a company to carry out a detailed study of possible sites. Potential LNG suppliers are said to have made the work a condition of their participation.
