Pakistan’s Sui Southern Gas is taking another stab at LNG imports with a tender to help turn a newly acquired port facility into a regasification terminal.
The government-run company plans to retrofit a liquefied petroleum gas terminal at Karachi’s Port Qasim so it can also handle LNG.
It put out a call this week for technical proposals to add LNG storage, regasification and receiving facilities at the site.
